Delete your account

Sadhana Lock · Interlude Apps

Sadhana Lock only asks for an account if you choose to sign in with Google. When you do, we store your name, your email address, an internal account identifier, and a copy of your practice — your sittings, your streak, your chosen deities and mantra, your reminder times and your place in the Bhagavad Gītā — so that signing in on a new phone brings it all back.

The apps you guard are never sent. That list stays on your phone, always.

If you never sign in, nothing at all leaves your phone.

Delete it from inside the app

This is the quickest way, and it takes effect immediately.

  1. Open Sadhana Lock.
  2. Tap the settings icon at the top right of Today.
  3. Scroll to Account and tap Delete account.
  4. Confirm. Google may ask you to sign in once more — that is a safeguard against someone else deleting your account from an unlocked phone.

Or ask us to delete it

If you have uninstalled the app, or would rather not do it yourself, email interludeapp.official@gmail.com from the address you signed in with, with the subject Delete my account.

We reply within 7 days and complete the deletion within 30 days. We ask you to write from the signed-in address because it is the only way we can tell it is your account — we hold nothing else that could identify you.

A note on backups

If you have used Settings → Save a copy, that file is yours and sits wherever you saved it. We have no copy of it and cannot delete it for you.
